Hugh Guill is a native Houstonian. He graduated from Kenyon College in 2008 with a Political Science degree. Upon graduating, Hugh was accepted into Teach For America and was placed in Denver, CO for his two-year teaching commitment. Following his two years in Denver, Hugh returned to Houston to become the High School Principal at Yes Prep Gulfton before matriculating to the full-time MBA program at Rice University in the fall of 2015. After leaving Rice, Hugh accepted a position as Vice President of Programs at Young People in Recovery (YPR) where he and his team built one of the largest, national addiction support services in the country over the course of four years. Having spent his entire professional career helping build non-profit organizations, Hugh decided to transition into the for-profit space in the fall of 2018. He put an investor group together and purchased 50% of a fast-casual restaurant concept called Fajita Pete’s. Hugh now serves full-time as the Chief Brand Officer for Fajita Pete’s Franchising and is also their largest franchisee. He continues to serve his community through advising recovery-focused and education-focused 501c3’s in the Houston area.
