Giovanni Solazzi was born in Fano, Italy. He graduated summa cum laude in law from the University of Bologna and obtained a Master's Degree in Sports Management from Columbia University, where he was the President of the Student Government. He was also a visiting student at University of California Irvine and Sports Law Visiting Researcher at Harvard Law School. Gio is currently a Professor of Sports Law, Administration and Finance at Rome City Institute. Sports Business Journal named him one of the New Voices 30 Under 30 of the Sports Industry.
